Everspin MRAM replacement:32Mbit serial STT‑MRAM memory chip

The serial SPI STT‑MRAM memory chip has a density of 32Mbit,is compatible with Single/Dual/Quad SPI working modes,and supports SPI Mode0 and Mode 3.The highest SDR is 108MHz,and the DDR can reach 54MHz.At the same time,it supports XIP to perform reading and writing in situ,and can directly run the programs in memory,reducing the occupation of system RAM resources.

As an alternative model evaluation object of Everspin MRAM,this 32Mbit SPI MRAM can be used for industrial control log caching,instrument parameter storage,network equipment configuration preservation,black box recording of Internet of Things terminals and other scenarios.In the replacement stage,it is suggested to check the power supply,SPI timing and packaging pins,complete board-level reading and writing,and measure the high and low temperatures before importing the BOM.The number of serial interface pins is small,which can simplify PCB layout compared with parallel storage and is suitable for the upgrade iteration of new and old embedded platforms.
